April Fools, But Why?

Some of the all-time best April Fools pranks include:

• Flying Penguins in 2008  –  The BBC aired footage of this happening, but it was actually an animation.
• The Left-handed Burger in 19918 – Burger King aired an advertisement claiming to “ensure a better grip on the bun” for the 32 million left-handed people in America.
• Spaghetti trees in 1957 – A show on the BBC claimed that farmers in Switzerland were growing crops of spaghetti and showed video of Swiss Farmers harvesting strands of spaghetti from trees.
