UK singer / songwriter has released her debut EP ‘Sweet Vibrations’ and it’s been on repeat here at Global Frequency HQ.

It’s been a big year for Karen, hitting half a billion streams of her music, as well as a million UK sales of her top 10 smash ‘Say Something’. The new EP is 8 tracks of upbeat dance music featuring some of her biggest recent tracks like ‘Morning’ (with Shift K3Y) and ‘Un-Do My Heart’ (with Digital Farm Animals) as well as some brand new material sure to excite her fast-growing fanbase.

We asked Karen if she would take part in our ‘Numbers’ interview series and she very kindly said yes! So, let’s get to it…

Give 1 reason why people should listen to ’Sweet Vibrations’

If you wanna feel some ‘Sweet Vibrations’ it’s all here.

What are the 3 most memorable live gigs you’ve played?

Parklife Mainstage Manchester 2015 – one of the first gigs my parents came to!

My own headline show at Hoxton Bar & Grill!

Boardmasters 2021 – the first gig back after lockdown and having a baby!

What will music sound like 50 years from now?

I think music goes round in circles and maybe in 50 years time we will be listening to techno at 170bpm or slow waltzing music. As long as there’s good dancefloor music I’ll be happy.

If you had to spend $1,000,000 in a day what would you spend it on?

I would definitely buy a new house, a one with a private karaoke room and indoor pool!
