DLG. and production duo Koastle reunite for “Erase,” a striking new single lifted from DLG.’s forthcoming debut album, due 10 October. Built from intimate songwriting and widescreen production, the track reflects on memory and heartbreak while folding in the shimmering textures both collaborators have made their trademark.
“Recorded at Spotify Studios in Los Angeles. A song heavily inspired by Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind. Written after the only serious relationship in my whole life ended after 4 years. This is the last single before my debut album – a collab with long-time friends and collaborators Koastle. We made this song in Tahoe, in a cabin surrounded by melting snow.” – DLG.
DLG. aka David De La Garza, is an indie artist unafraid to blur genres. He’s steadily amassed a loyal following for his infectious melodies where bold and boundary-pushing production meets.
With more than 50 million streams, DLG. blends soulful, Mac Miller-esque vocal intimacy with anthemic, Tame Impala-tinged production. Born in Austin and now based in Los Angeles, his debut album promises a sonically daring, emotionally resonant exploration of love and loss.
Keeping things in the family, its visuals were created alongside his mother, a noted painter and sculptor. DLG. is poised for a breakout moment as his songwriting deepens – catch him on tour this fall.

Joining DLG. on this latest single is Koastle – the Orange County duo Andy Mueller and Brett Beaudette — who push indie-electronic music into shimmering, experimental territory.
Influenced by Flume, Odesza and Porter Robinson, they pair cinematic sonics with striking visuals and an ambitious release strategy: With support from outlets and artists across the electronic scene including The Chainsmokers, Louis the Child, and San Holo, Koastle impressed with their 2023 Koastcards releases, making them one to watch.
