NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDEN (Bronx, New York) is an easily accessible venue from midtown Manhattan. I was fortunate to attend the opening day of the Chihuly exhibit (Dale Chihuly) which runs through October 29th, 2017. A Seattle glassmaker, Mr. Chihuly has installed 20 exciting installations across the garden’s beautiful 250 acres. The colorful blown-glass sculptures meld with the garden’s sculptured landscape. You can board a tram which will stop at the various exhibits. You can also visit the Hudson Garden Grill, a Modern-American ,upscale dining venue or the Pine Tree Café for lighter fare. Make a day of it, (I did) on your next New York Visit!
