It’s looking like festival season is back for ’22! It’s been a long, cold, lonely winter without them, as Covid ruined the party, but here at Global Frequency HQ we’re very pleased to be hearing about plenty of new launches.
If you fancy jumping on a flight and making up for some lost time, there’s Primavera Sound in Barcelona from June 2nd – 12th where you can catch a huge range of artists including Massive Attack, Beck, Gorillaz, Tame Impala nad a ton of others. Or fancy some metal? How about Hellfest in Glisson, France for Metallica, Guns n Roses, Nine Inch Nails and a host of legends – taking place 17th – 26th June. Or perhaps its time to head to Vegas baby! Electric Daisy Carnival takes place May 20th – 22nd and is a spectacular explosion of EDM with Eric Prydz, Afrojack, Benny Bennassi, The Chainsmokers, Deadmau5 and more.
We don’t have time to list all the festivals coming up but I can tell you, it’s an exciting time. And we were excited to get the news of MADE Festival returning to the West Midlands, UK. It’s one that always has its finger on the pulse in terms of artists to watch out for over the coming 12 months.
MADE Festival is the West Midlands’ biggest and best music and arts festival and was actually one of the few which managed to go ahead last summer in very tough circumstances. It returns on Saturday 30th July for a huge 8th edition with its biggest lineup to date and a new home at Dunstall Park in Wolverhampton. 2022 sees more stages than ever before and artists already confirmed including AJ Tracey, Eats Everything, Andy C, Pa Salieu, Ms Banks, Bru-C, DJ EZ, Shy FX, Kings Of The Rollers, TQD, Prospa, Jaguar, and many more.

As ever, MADE Festival delivers the big names while still supporting the brightest rising talents such as viral sensation Shae OT, the artist behind one of the biggest TikTok sounds of the year. MADE fans can enjoy UK rap, hip hop, drum & bass, house, disco, jungle, reggae and bass music, as the festival cements its reputation as a highlight of the UK summer festival calendar. 2022 will see 20,000 up-for-it party people descend on Dunstall Park to immerse themselves in a day and night of incredible music, urban arts, creative performance, delicious street food and friendly vibes.
MADE remains one of the best value festivals out there with tickets starting at just £50 + b/f. So don’t wait – get on over to www.made-festival.co.uk and bag yourself a ticket while you still can.
