Cheyne Christian continues his impressive start to 2023 with a brand new deep and steamy remix of ‘El Baile’ by David Novacek, Juan Galvis and Ald4na on Robbie Rivera’s Juicy Music label.

This is the latest in a faultless run of tunes on some of the house scene’s most essential labels – Toolroom, Saved, Nervous Records – and it has already been getting heavy support from tastemakers such as Robbie Rivera, Claptone, Guy Mantzur and many more.

Rising up through the New York scene of the 90s shaped the fresh take on house music that Cheyne Christian puts out today. Modern day great Claptone is a high profile fan who plays everything Cheyne puts out, from his famous bootleg of ‘Sunglasses At Night’ to his physical tech house cut ‘Ritmo’ on Black Hole Recordings.

‘El Baile’ (Cheyne Christian Remix) is a brilliantly atmospheric house track that takes you deep into a humid jungle. Mystic flutes lead you there, while rolling drums keep you moving and tropical percussion details the groove. Vamping piano chords and lush snares take things higher as subtle vocal sounds bring real warmth.

The original artists behind ‘El Baile’ are established Czech DJ and producer, David Novacek, a house mainstay with big tunes on the likes of Spinnin’ Records and Armada Music. He’s joined up with new school Colombian underground producer Juan Galvis, who is no stranger to the top of the Beatport charts and who brings Latin American influences to the original. And fellow Colombian Ald4na is a Juicy Music mainstay who completes the trio.

This is another rich house gem from the on-form Cheyne Christian. Keep an eye out for him at Miami Music Week this March. And follow on Spotify for all the latest new music.
