At Benicassim Festival this summer Austrian electronic music duo, Klangkarussell, took home 2019’s Saturday night honours, with a packed out tent that drew crowds from across the site. One gig, but part of an increasingly familiar story for Klangkarussell (aka Tobias Reiser and Adrian Held), following a summer of standout festival performances and sold out headline shows that have seen them play to crowds across the UK, Europe and further afield in South America. One of the biggest moments from these sets is ‘Comoros’, released on 4 September 2019. An inspired piece of beautiful, atmospheric house, ‘Comoros’ is both the duo’s first single in over 2 years, and the release that marks the launch of their new label, Bias Beach.

September will also see Tobi and Adrian play their Night Tales headline show in London (20/9), before flying to Beirut, Lebanon for Decks On The Beach (21/9). For the remainder of the month they’ll be holed up in Southern Italy writing the remaining tracks and songs for their forthcoming second artist album, due out in 2020, and preparing for a run of European dates and beyond. Tobi and Adrian’s live schedule is fully booked up until the end of this year.

‘Comoros’ marks the next stage in the evolution of Klangkarussell’s sound, and with the launch of Bias Beach, they have an imprint and creative outlet they can control, and also provide a label home for new and existing talent.
