It’s been 10 years since singer-songwriter Cristina Soto appeared with Tritonal on their collaborative hit ‘Lifted’. To mark the decade long anniversary, Soto has cooked up a beautiful acoustic version of this former hands-in-air anthem.

Based out of Austin, TX, Cristina Soto, who is largely known for her work in EDM, was the original vocalist for power-duo Tritonal. Her ethereal tones and heady lyrics played an instrumental role in bringing their melodic yet progressive trance to the forefront of the dance music scene. She’s since been in demand collaborating with electronic music titans such as Au5, CloZee, ATB and ARMNHMR.

This remix of ‘Lifted’ is an absolute gem, full of beauty and charm. It follows a string of other acoustic reworks on tracks that Soto appeared on, including her breakout hit with Tritonal ‘Still With Me’ and ‘Painted White’ with Illenium and Said The Sky.

I was so excited to rework ‘Lifted’ as an acoustic mix because the progression, melodies, and lyrics are strong, and I felt that it could stand the test of time. The message of imperfect love is also still a relevant one.
