Looking for something sweet to do with Mom on Mother’s Day (May 9)? Rock n roll’s most-loved frontman Dave Grohl has just the thing.
Paramount+ has announced that From Cradle to Stage, the unscripted series from the Foo Fighters frontman and his mother Virginia Hanlon Grohl, will be arriving on Thursday May 6 to the streaming service.
The six-part series, directed by the rocker and inspired by Virginia’s book of the same title, will explore the relationships between famous musical artists and their mothers, their upbringing and the skills they learned as children that would go on to prepare them for success.
From Cradle to Stage also looks at the relationships of Pharrell and his mother Dr. Carolyn Williams, Miranda and Bev Lambert, Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello and his mother Mary, and more.
