Global Frequency has been documenting the career of juuku over the past year or so. The anonymous producer has been teasing the arrival his EP for a while now so we’re thrilled it’s finally here.
Warmth out now via indie imprint Moving Castle, is composed of seven tracks with a compelling, melodic and bass-driven narrative. The release comes with a special VR video experience that incorporates the entire project. It’s beautifully done and is well worth the watch.
It begins with the emotionally-charged, Arrival which sets the tone for what’s to come. Also featured is Just Lost, a collaboration with Manilla Killa (co-founder of Moving Castle) that houses an infectious, bouncy drop that is sure to fill speakers in the coming months.
Throughout the rest of the project, juuku further exemplifies his ability to transcend stylistic borders with experimental and compelling bass-driven tracks. This project truly lives up to all hopes and expectations we had over a captivating 20 minutes and 23 seconds.
