Swedish singer / songwriter, Yota, returns to NewRetroWave for her second album release. ‘Hazy Paradise’ sees the Paris-based artist deliver a collection of sultry retro sounds which underline her status as ‘one to watch’.
The new album is a collection of 9 tracks and ranges from the upbeat grooves of ‘The Vibe’ and ‘The Runner’ through to the seductive ‘Number One’, and ‘Images’. All the tracks tap into the nostalgic synth-heavy sound for which NewRetroWave are so well known (the NRW YouTube channel recently celebrated 1 million subscribers) yet still sounds fresh and contemporary.
‘Hazy Paradise’ features tracks written in collaboration with influential French electronic music artist, Lifelike, as well as other talented artists including Douze, Stéphane Lozac’h and others.
