If you’re into apocalyptic viewing, this forthcoming star-studded film is for you.
In the official trailer for Leave The World Behind, a family’s (Julia Roberts and Ethan Hawke) vacation is upended when two strangers (Mahershala Ali and Myha’la) arrive at night, seeking refuge from a cyberattack that grows more terrifying by the minute, forcing everyone to come to terms with their places in a collapsing world.
Leave The World Behind is written and directed by Sam Esmail (aka the creator of Mr. Robot), and adapted from the 2020 novel by Rumaan Alam.
The film is expected to arrive in selected cinemas this November, and will be streaming on Netflix from 8 December.
