Ely Cathedral is a beautiful and historic location; perfect for these wonderful artists to deliver ‘A Fairy Tale Christmas’. The cathedral has its origins in AD 672 when St Etheldreda built an abbey church. The present building dates back to 1083 and it was granted cathedral status in 1109. Hearing the tones of Yury Revich’s 300-year-old Stradivarius within the cathedral acoustics, or the high notes of classical soprano Joanna Forest, or any of the amazing performances on the night, will be a Christmas treat to remember.
