After discovering a once-in-a-lifetime player with a rocky past abroad, a down on his luck basketball scout (Adam Sandler) takes it upon himself to bring the phenom to the States without his team’s approval.
Against the odds, they have one final shot to prove they have what it takes to make it in the NBA.
Produced by Sandler and one LeBron James, who knows a thing or two about shooting hoops, the film will land on Netflix on 10 June.
But if you’re expecting Sandler playing one of his go-to wacky comedy characters, better give this one a swerve. Hustler sees Sandler take on a more gritty role which some would say is refreshing. Others may say, stick to the funny stuff Sandler.
