The trailer for Superpowered: The DC Story has been revealed, a 3-part documentary about the iconic comic book company’s legacy.
Narrated by Rosario Dawson, the series takes an unprecedented look at the enduring and influential legacy of DC, allowing fans to rediscover the universe of characters, as well as the iconic comic book company’s origins, its evolution and its nearly nine-decade cultural impact across every artistic medium.
Whether an avid fan a la the cast of The Big Bang Theory or just someone who’s into the blockbuster superhero films, this looks to be a top watch featuring 60 new and archival interviews with the industry’s most prolific creators, actors and executives, including Tim Burton, Gal Gadot, Michael Keaton, Christopher Reeve and Margot Robbie among others.
The docuseries will stream on Max in the States on 20 July but there’s no official sign of a UK date yet.
